I finally had time to redo and touch up my final graduation project and share it here. Inspired by this 1/6 scale miniature figure created by figure artist Se-rang Kim (https://www.serang.co.kr/), I aimed to re-create a historically accurate national hero, Yi Sun-sin, as a highly realistic game-ready 3D model.
I sculpted the body in Zbrush, starting with a custom base made from Metahuman. The layers of clothes and armour were created using Maya and Marvelous Designer with clothes simulation. The texture was done with Substance Painter, optimized for Unreal Engine 5. Thanks for watching!
